Sue Winder was delighted to learn that she was our Queenscourt Lottery Weekly Draw top prize Winner.
Sue joined #QueenscourtLottery in 2018 and has lived in Formby for nearly 50 years, and so the area has always been special to her and a major part of her life.
Sue said: “I have been lucky so far regarding my health, but it is good to know that Queenscourt Hospice is nearby should I, or someone I know, need the specialist care that they provide.
Sue has previously won £20 in one of our 2018 Weekly Lottery Draws, and was shocked to have finally won the top prize of £1,500.
She added: “It was such a surprise when I received the call and even though I was saying thank you – it was not really sinking in that I had actually won the big prize!”
“I am still considering how I will spend my winnings, but I will probably take a trip somewhere.
“I would not hesitate to encourage someone to sign up to Queenscourt Lottery, because by doing so you are helping a really great local charity to support patients and their loved ones when they need compassionate care the most.
