Mark Flannagan

Trustee

Mark Flannagan lives in Hillside, where he settled in 2022. He has a long career in the charity sector and is currently part‑time Chief Executive of a charity supporting offender rehabilitation through bicycle mechanic training. Previously, Mark led a national cancer charity and has nearly 40 years’ experience in communications, policy, public affairs and crisis media for major non‑profit organisations. He has served as a Trustee for charities focused on environmental issues and supporting families in need, and is also a trained funeral celebrant. A keen road cyclist since 2014, Mark has completed Ride London 100 four times, London to Paris, numerous sportives, and the Great North Run.
