Clinical Dilemmas at the End of Life

This study day is for Doctors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Physician Associates and Clinical Nurse Specialists working across acute and community settings

This study day will explore a variety of clinical dilemmas at the end of life

  • Inter disciplinary professionals will discuss examples of
    • Withdrawal of life prolonging treatment
    • Decisions regarding CPR
    • Public perceptions of Midazolam at the end of life
  • The impact of change in legislation of assisted dying will be explored
