Palliative Care Education for Hospital & District Nurses June 24

This 6 day course is open to all Band 5 or Band 6 registered Nurses

The programme will include topics such as:

• Pain Assessment & Management
• Communication Skills
• Anorexia & Cachexia
• Nausea & Vomiting
• Constipation & Bowel Obstruction
• Fungating Wounds
• Palliative Care Emergencies
• Breathlessness
• Palliative Care Ethics
• Spirituality
• End of Life Care

The course will be delivered at the Terence Burgess Education Centre
