Palliative Care Education for Hospital & District Nurses 2026
This 6 day course is open to all Band 5 or Band 6 registered Nurses
The programme will include topics such as:
- Pain Assessment & Management
- Communication Skills
- Anorexia & Cachexia
- Nausea & Vomiting
- Constipation & Bowel Obstruction
- Fungating Wounds
- Palliative Care Emergencies
- Breathlessness
- Palliative Care Ethics
- Spirituality
- End of Life Care
The course will be delivered at the Terence Burgess Education Centre
