Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 we have had to take the difficult decision to postpone this year's Make A Will Month campaign.
All our participating solicitors have been informed of this decision, so if you have already booked an appointment, they will contact you directly to confirm arrangements. Face to face appointments have been reduced, but some may be able to offer telephone or video appointments, if required. Alternatively, you may prefer to reschedule to a later date.
We will, of course, let you know as soon as we are able to reschedule this campaign. Thank you for your understanding at this challenging time.
Simply choose a Solicitor from the list below and call them directly to make an appointment.
The Solicitor will not charge you for their time but instead will invite you to make a donation to Queenscourt.
• Basic Will – suggested donation of £100
• Joint Will – suggested donation of £150
• Amendment to Existing Will (a codicil) - suggested donation of £50
All participating Solicitors are giving up their time to help Queenscourt and we thank them for their fantastic support!
Your Will can give you peace of mind
Making a Will ensures that your loved ones are provided for as you wish. Unless you make a Will, you cannot guarantee that your estate will be distributed as you desired. If you die without having made a Will (known as Intestate) the law directs how your assets are divided.
Making a Will doesn’t have to be daunting, the Solicitor will guide you through the process, ensuring your family is looked after.
Your Will power can help change lives
The future of your local hospice relies upon people like you remembering us in your Will. It’s a simple way of ensuring that we’ll be here to care for generations to come. Once you have protected your loved ones, please consider leaving a donation to Queenscourt. Your gift will cost you nothing today and yet make a world of difference to those we care for tomorrow.
There is no obligation for you to include a gift to the hospice in your will, however, any gift in your Will made to a UK registered charity such as Queenscourt Hospice will be tax free and may help reduce the amount of Inheritance Tax your estate would otherwise have to pay.
