Stock Holding of Palliative Care Medicines

This service is not intended to replace that provided by the patient’s usual pharmacy. Each of the pharmacies mentioned holds a stock of palliative care medicines. Where there would be an unacceptable delay to the patient in obtaining drugs from their usual pharmacy e.g. stock shortages, health professionals may direct patients to one of the pharmacies providing an enhanced service.
