Our Remembering Evenings….
We hold two remembering services, both on Tuesdays, one nearest the shortest day in December and one nearest the longest day in June.
All are welcome to come, but we invite especially those who have lost loved ones within the previous six months. All their names are read out and we celebrate their lives with readings, song and music. It is completely non denominational and there is a printed booklet which you can use to remind you of the readings.
Our most recent service was held in June of this year and we placed our candles around a beautiful bowl, which was specially commissioned and donated by Barbara Jones, in memory of Norman Jones, who was Mayor of Sefton in 1992/93.
